Vortex Esports Inc(“Vortex,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) operates the public website at vortexesportsinc.com and related digital experiences for competitive esports rosters, content creators, community events, careers applications, and official merchandise.

2. Information we collect

Depending on how you interact with the Services, we may collect:

• Account information: name, username, email address, profile image, and authentication identifiers when you register or sign in
• Profile and community data: optional bio, social handles, preferences, and content you choose to display on member-facing pages
• Application data: information submitted through careers or roster forms, including experience, availability, region, and attachments you provide
• Commerce-related data: cart contents on our site and order identifiers returned from Fourthwall checkout (we do not store full payment card numbers)
• Usage and device data: IP address, browser type, pages viewed, referring URLs, approximate location derived from IP, and diagnostic logs
• Communications: messages you send to our support or staff channels

We also receive limited information when you follow links to Twitch, YouTube, Discord, Instagram, X, or other platforms. Those platforms handle data under their own policies.

We do not sell your personal information. We may send promotional updates about Vortex events, drops, or streams where permitted by law and where you have not opted out.

4. Authentication (Clerk)

Member sign-up and sign-in are powered by Clerk. When you create an account, Clerk processes credentials and session data on our behalf. Clerk may collect device, security, and login metadata to prevent fraud and maintain sessions.

5. Merchandise (Fourthwall)

When you purchase official Vortex merch, checkout is completed on Fourthwall. Fourthwall collects shipping address, payment details, and order history needed to fulfill purchases, calculate tax, and provide customer support.

Our site may store cart session data locally and receive webhook or API notifications about order status so we can reconcile storefront activity. Payment card data is processed by Fourthwall and its payment partners, not stored on our servers.

6. Social, streaming, and embeds

Our Watch and social pages surface live streams, VODs, and clips from platforms such as Twitch, YouTube, and other creator channels. Embedded players and outbound links may allow those platforms to collect viewing data, cookies, or identifiers under their policies.

Discord widgets and invite links may transmit server or widget interaction data to Discord. We use these integrations to help fans find official community spaces and live content.

Account data is kept while your account is active and for a reasonable period afterward. Application records may be retained to manage hiring pipelines.
